High school is such an important season of life—full of milestones, late nights studying, early mornings rushing out the door, practices, games, music, friendships, first jobs, and big dreams for the future. As a photographer who has spent years capturing families and seniors across Mocksville, Clemmons, and Winston-Salem, I’ve seen firsthand just how unique and special every senior’s story is.
That’s why I’m so excited to announce something brand new for the Class of 2026: a chance to nominate a high school senior for a free senior mini session!
I believe photography is more than pretty pictures—it’s about celebrating life, achievements, and the people who inspire us. Every year, I meet seniors who are balancing incredible things: leading in their schools, working part-time jobs, volunteering, excelling in sports or arts, or quietly making a difference at home and in their community.
Not every accomplishment comes with a medal or spotlight, but these stories matter. And I want to use my lens to highlight them.
This free senior mini session giveaway is a way to shine a light on the Class of 2026—because their stories deserve to be shared and celebrated.
From October 16th through October 31st, 2025, you’ll have the opportunity to nominate a senior for a free mini session. Here’s how it works:
Fill Out the Form
Share the senior’s name, their school, and why you want to nominate them.
Tell me their story—what makes them stand out? How are they making a difference in their school, family, or community?
Nomination Period
Nominations are open October 16th–October 31st, 2025.
Feel free to share the form with friends and family—sometimes the best stories come from those who have watched these seniors grow up!
Winner Announcement
On Monday, November 3rd, I’ll announce the winning senior right here and on my social media pages.
The Prize: A Free Mini Session
A 10–15 minute senior session in Mocksville, Clemmons, or Winston-Salem.
Location chosen by the photographer.
Includes 5 digital images, selected from a gallery of professionally edited photos.
The session can be scheduled anytime between November 10th, 2025, and June 30th, 2026.
If you’re new to my work, you might be wondering what a “mini session” looks like. A mini is the perfect bite-sized version of a full senior session:
Quick & Fun: 10–15 minutes is all we need to capture great portraits.
Simple: No need to stress—it’s relaxed, easy, and focused on highlighting the senior.
Beautiful Results: Each senior will get to choose their favorite 5 images from a gallery to keep and share.
While full sessions allow for outfit changes, multiple locations, and a longer experience, minis are a wonderful way to capture a few meaningful images that tell a story.
In a world where newsfeeds often highlight the negative, I want to use my platform to share stories of hope, kindness, and inspiration—and the Class of 2026 is full of them.
Maybe it’s the senior who works after school to help support their family.
Maybe it’s the student who quietly befriends others who feel left out.
Maybe it’s the athlete who shows leadership, not just on the field, but in the way they treat teammates.
Maybe it’s the creative who pours their heart into art, music, or writing.
These stories are everywhere, and they deserve a spotlight. Photography has always been about preserving moments—and this project is about preserving stories, too.
