I love getting to know my clients, and I thought it would be fun to share a little bit about myself! Here are ten random facts about me—maybe we have something in common!
I absolutely love anything mint! Whether it's mint candy, ice cream, or drinks, you can always count me in. It’s my go-to flavor for just about everything.
My husband and I have been together since my junior year of high school. We actually met while working at Quizno’s Subs in Clemmons, NC (which, sadly, is no longer in business). We got married a year before I graduated from college!
Our home is full of love—and fur! We have Lily, a shepherd-lab mix and the oldest of the bunch; Oliver, a Siberian husky; and Willow, who may be the youngest but is also the biggest!
Before I got my first DSLR, I went through at least three Kodak EasyShare cameras. Those little cameras were my first introduction to photography and capturing special moments.
While I enjoy a good series on Netflix or a family movie night, I can easily go weeks without watching television. I'd rather spend my time creating, reading, or spending time outside.
I start my mornings early—around 5 AM—and coffee is a must! I usually have two cups, one at 5:15 AM and another at 6:00 AM. Most of the time, I drink it with just a splash of half and half, but when I’m feeling fancy, I add cinnamon and honey.
Since I wake up so early, I’m usually in bed before 9 PM—sometimes even before the sun goes down! I used to be a night owl, but I’ve realized that I function much better when I get a full night’s sleep.
Whenever I’m editing, driving, or going for a walk, I almost always have a podcast playing. And here’s a secret—I actually started my own podcast in 2025! If you’ve read this far, let me know if you want to know the name of it!
I set a goal to read 75 books this year! I’m off to a slow start, but I plan to get pretty close. One of my favorite things to do in the summertime is sit on my porch with a good book.
Before photography, my dream was to become a graphic designer and work for a magazine in NYC. While my career path took a different turn, my design background still influences my photography and editing style today.
I’d love to hear if we have any of these things in common! Tell me a fun fact about yourself in the comments!
