As a photographer, one of my favorite parts of the process is taking a great image and giving it that final polish that truly brings it to life. This before-and-after from a recent family session is a perfect example of how just a few edits can elevate a photo from good to glowingly beautiful.

In the original image (left), the moment was already so sweet—this gorgeous family full of love, energy, and connection. But with a few enhancements—like brightening the image, softening shadows, adjusting skin tones, and adding just a bit of warmth to the light—the final edit (right) feels more vibrant, polished, and full of life.

My goal with every session is not to drastically change who you are, but to highlight your best light. Literally. I want your family to look back on these images and feel the joy, love, and magic that was already there—just made a little more vivid.
