There’s something truly magical about a summer evening in a sunflower field—the golden glow, the towering blooms, and the giggles of little ones soaking it all in. This sweet session took place at one of my favorite local spots right here in Mocksville, NC, and it was the perfect way to celebrate sunshine, sibling love, and another seasonal milestone for one of my cherished mini session package families.

This family is part of my Mini Session Package Program, which means they get to enjoy multiple sessions throughout the year—capturing the joy of each season without the pressure of cramming it all into one shoot. From spring blooms to holiday lights, and now these stunning sunflower fields, it’s always a treat watching their little ones grow and personalities shine.

We started the session nestled along a row of sunflowers with a cozy yellow-and-white blanket to match the vibrant blooms. The kids were full of curiosity and energy—whether sitting sweetly together or exploring their surroundings with wonder. Big sis was a natural with her younger siblings, and that sunshiney smile while holding her sunflowers? Pure gold.
