I have been photographing this family for years.  We have done newborn sessions, grow with me packages, mini sessions, family sessions and so much more over the past years.  I could not believe how long it has been since I saw them!  Mom sent me a photo from our last session and they were just babies, it had been 7 years.  Since I am friends with her on Facebook & Instagram and I see her kids and family often I didn't believe it was that long!  I am so glad they contacted me for a mini session.

They were interested in getting some B&W images so I wanted to make sure that the background would look good.  She asked about outfits so I think that with multiple people in a photo for B&W it's best to have a good contrast with light & dark colors.  Mom did a great job coordinating outfits to achieve this.  They are going to look amazing printed and put on her wall.

We started the session in front of the Manor house at Tanglewood on the walkway.  We did each kid separetly and then a few shots of them together.  We then went into the gated garden, I call the secret garden with beautiful hydrangeas that is in full bloom in the summertime.
