When this senior came all the way from Cary, NC to Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC for her photo session, we had already faced a reschedule due to unpredictable weather. The forecast was calling for gusty winds and chilly temperatures, but we decided to move forward with the session anyway. Fortunately, we were able to dodge the wind gusts and create some amazing memories.
As we arrived at Tanglewood Park, we were met with an unusually busy day—there were multiple events taking place, and prom-goers were everywhere, taking photos at the park’s iconic spots. At first, I was a bit concerned, as my usual spots were crowded. But, being the early riser I am, I quickly found several hidden gems within the park that I had never used before. A stunning cherry tree with soft pink blooms and a beautiful white flowering bush were perfect for her senior portraits.
After finishing up at Tanglewood Park, we moved on to Mocksville, NC, to find a more rustic vibe. The barns, old buildings, and open field were the perfect contrast to the floral beauty of Tanglewood. The combination of these two completely different environments made her senior session a memorable one.
Despite the challenges the weather and busy crowds presented, we made it through and captured some truly special moments. Here are some of the images from our time together.
