This sunflower session was full of golden light, giggles between sisters, and the kind of smiles you want to bottle up forever. We had a mix of sweet solo portraits, playful moments between siblings, and even a few glowy parent shots that felt like sunshine itself.
Seasonal mini sessions like this are short, sweet, and oh-so-magical. But one of the most common questions I get is…
“What’s the difference between a mini, regular, and full session?”
Let’s break it down:
🌻 MINI SESSIONS
Time: ~10–15 minutes
Best for: Quick updates, seasonal portraits, milestones, or holiday cards
Includes: 5 digital images (with the option to upgrade to full gallery)
Examples: Sunflower minis, holiday minis, baseball minis
Mini sessions are pre-scheduled on specific dates and locations with back-to-back clients. They're efficient and perfect if you're looking for just a few updated images!
🌿 REGULAR SESSIONS
Time: 30 minutes
Best for: Families, kids, or couples who want a bit more variety but don’t need the full experience
Includes: More flexibility with posing, outfit changes, and image variety
Regular sessions give us time to slow down a bit, get a mix of posed and candid moments, and explore a little more of the location.
💛 FULL SESSIONS
Time: ~1 hour
Best for: Extended families, storytelling sessions, branding sessions, or when you want to fully document a season of life
Includes: Multiple locations or outfit changes, full image gallery
Full sessions are all about depth—more connection, more story, and more variety to choose from when printing or designing albums and wall art.
This particular session was a mini, and just look how much love and personality we captured in such a short time! When the sunflowers bloom, we don’t have long—so booking early (and being on the newsletter list!) is key.
☀️ Don’t Miss Your Chance Next Time
Sunflower minis, lavender fields, tulip patches… these sessions are booked quickly and based on unpredictable bloom timing.
