One of the best parts of being a photographer is getting to reconnect with families I’ve known for years. This beautiful girl and her family used to live in the same neighborhood as mine, and we did a fun little session together when she was just a child. Fast forward to today—she’s officially starting her freshman year at Davie County High School in Mocksville, NC!

It’s been years since she’s been in front of my camera, so this session felt extra special. Not only was it a chance to capture her natural beauty and confidence, but it was also a way to celebrate such an exciting new chapter in her life. High school is full of change, growth, and big memories—what better way to kick it off than with a photo session that captures her exactly as she is right now?

We spent our time together creating a mix of fun, relaxed, and classic portraits. Her style, smile, and personality shined through in every shot, and I couldn’t help but think how quickly the years have passed.
