Booking a photo session shouldn’t feel overwhelming.
And honestly? It doesn’t have to be.
Whether you’re booking family photos, senior portraits, or branding images for your business, one of the biggest hesitations I hear is:
👉 “I don’t know what to expect.”
So let me walk you through exactly what the experience looks like—from the moment you book to the moment your gallery lands in your inbox.
1. Booking Your Session
The process starts here:
You’ll choose the session that best fits what you need:
-
Mini Sessions (short, seasonal, quick updates)
-
Regular Sessions (30 minutes, full gallery)
-
Full Sessions (more time, outfit changes, flexibility)
If you’re not sure which one is right for you—that’s completely normal. I’m always happy to help guide you.
2. Planning Your Session
Once you’re booked, we’ll start planning the details.
This includes:
-
Choosing the right location (Tanglewood Park, Reynolda Gardens, or somewhere new!)
-
Talking through the vibe you want
-
Outfit guidance (without overcomplicating it)
You don’t need a perfect plan—you just need a starting point. I’ll help with the rest.
3. The Day of Your Session
This is where most people feel nervous… and where everything usually shifts.
You do not need to know how to pose.
You do not need perfectly behaved kids.
You do not need to feel 100% confident walking in.
That’s my job—to guide you.
I’ll:
-
Give you direction so you don’t feel awkward
-
Keep things moving so it feels natural
-
Work with your kids (not against them)
-
Capture both the posed and in-between moments
In 15+ years, it’s very rare for a session to feel like a “bust.”
It’s usually less about behavior—and more about how we respond in the moment. And I’ve got you there.
4. After Your Session
After your session, your images are professionally edited and delivered in an online gallery.
From there, you can:
-
View your full gallery
-
Download your images
-
Share with family and friends
-
Order prints if you’d like
No guessing. No confusion. Everything is simple and easy to access.
5. The Real Goal (It’s Not Just Photos)
Yes—you’ll walk away with beautiful images.
But what most people don’t expect is this:
👉 You’ll also walk away feeling more confident, more present, and more connected to this season of your life.
That’s the part that matters most.
Common Concerns (Let’s Be Honest)
“I’m awkward in photos.”
“I don’t know what to do with my hands.”
“My kids might not cooperate.”
“My husband doesn’t want to be there.”
I hear all of these—and they are completely normal.
You don’t need to have it all figured out before your session.
You just need to show up.
