One of my favorite parts of photography is capturing babies as they grow through their first year. This 6-month session at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC was such a joy — filled with sweet smiles, curiosity, and plenty of giggles. At this milestone, babies are often sitting up, showing off their little personalities, and giving us the happiest expressions. This little one did not disappoint!

A Beautiful Backdrop for Milestones

Tanglewood Park is always a lovely location, and it was the perfect choice for this session. From the brick pathways to the flower-filled gardens, every corner offered a cozy and colorful setting to highlight this happy baby. We also made use of the soft grassy areas and shady spots that created a comfortable and natural backdrop.

Capturing Pure Joy

What made this session so special was just how joyful this little one was. From sitting in a vintage Coca-Cola crate to stretching out on blankets in the grass, he was full of curiosity and smiles the entire time. These images capture the magic of 6 months — that in-between stage when your baby isn’t quite walking yet but is full of personality and charm.
